Field And Stream Tents Are Available For Any Type Of Camper
There are two kinds of campers in the world, there are those die hard campers with every known piece of equipment and weekenders who have a tent and a couple of sleeping bags. Regardless, one thing that every camper has in common is the need for a quality tent. With all of the options available, one brand that still gets high marks and a lot of attention is Field and Stream. Field and Stream tents offer tents made from quality materials, for different types of campers and at varying price ranges that make them an option for anyone who wants a Field and Stream tent.
For the weekend camper who wants the comfort of having a lot of space, then there are a couple of Field and Stream tents that fit the bill. The first thing that you need to understand is that these tents, that are part of the Estate series, aren't meant for backpacking; they are unwieldy and will require a vehicle to transport. The Field and Stream 10 X 16 Estate series sleeps 8 people and can expand in height to 7'. In addition, this model has two removable walls that allows you to create three separate rooms, two rooms or have one large open space. It costs around $200, so it isn't a budget buster either.
If you prefer a dome style tent then the Field & Stream 10'x18' Estate Dome Tent offers another comfortable option for camping. Again, this tent sleeps 8 but it doesn't offer separate sleeping areas like the 10X16 tent. One of the biggest selling features for both of these tents is the height, which allows for standing up comfortably, putting in double decker cots and so on. Again, at about $170 this tent isn't going to break your budget.

For the backpackers out there you will want the Field Master Field and Stream Tents. These tents are designed to be lightweight and compact. You can still sleep larger groups (the 11X9 sleeps 6) but you won't get the same roominess as you will with the Estate series. This compromise is reflected in the price, however, as the 11X19 option is about $90. You can get a smaller 3 person tent (8X7) for around $60. Unfortunately, no Field and Stream Tents are specifically made for children, nor do they have fun options such as a teepee, camo options or fun colors. However, there are many other great quality tents available as well. SoulPad, for example, offers canvas teepee style tents and not just children's tents. You can purchase them for families, camping, decks and more. There is a price to pay for SoulPad tents, however, as they start at $400 and increase from there. |
